This reputable roads authority is responsible for the delivery and maintenance of road and bridge infrastructure across the state and offers employees the opportunity to work on state-of-the-art projects, career development and attractive working conditions. The organisation recently acquired a number of new projects to develop and complete and now require a Project Engineer with a solid background in bridge construction and/or bridge maintenance to join their engineering team.

Reporting to the Works Manager you will be responsible for:

• Delivering assigned infrastructure projects according to the technical specifications;
  
• Providing technical advice to the team;
  
• Managing cost estimates and budgets;
  
• Ensuring the timely delivery of projects to budget; and
  
• Ensuring OHSE and quality standards are met.

To be successful you will require a degree in civil, structural or geotechnical engineering and possess extensive experience in bridge and road construction and/or maintenance. You will require solid project planning skills and the ability to liaise with sub-contractors, clients and technical specialists.
